Alan Iglitzin

November 11, 1931 — September 15, 2025

We are saddened to announce that Alan Iglitzin, founder of the Olympic Music Festival and Concerts in the Barn and founding member of the Philadelphia String Quartet, has passed away. He was 93. For more than 30 years, Alan brought world-class musicians to perform world-class chamber music in a rustic barn in Quilcene.

A tribute party will be held in his honor in the Barn. The date will be announced on this website, social media, and to everyone on our mailing list. It will be open to the public.
